Now I empathize with Steve Martin. When I watched the movie father of the bride, my daughter was a toddler and I was sure that being the father of the bride wasn’t as difficult as Steve made it out to be. But I take it all back. My daughter is getting married in a months’ time and my life is chaotic. Both mother and daughter are in hysterics most of the time over the wedding dress or the cake or the flower arrangements, the list is endless.
Well I can’t do much about their clothes or the food, that’s my wife’s department but getting the house spruced up for the wedding was my task. I must say I got the easiest part of the chaos as I just went to The Yardstick and told them that my home needed a makeover. It was as easy as pie. They have such a wide range of fabrics and drapery and they just put together different patterns and brought it over for me to choose. We were done in no time and the house looked beautiful.
My wife and daughter were stunned with the result and now my daughter has decided to use The Yardstick to furnish the new house she is moving into after her wedding. Even the guests at the little get togethers we had for our close friends and family before and after the wedding were quite taken up with The Yardstick.
